Course

The race will begin at Bossard Memorial Library and run down 2nd Avenue towards the City Park. The race will finish at the city park on the riverside (1st avenue). Parents, please be at the finish line to pick up your kids. 

Runners will meet at Bossard Memorial Library on 2nd Avenue, Gallipolis, Ohio

Race will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 4, 2026

Please arrive by 5:00 p.m.  to register and receive your free race t-shirt

Entry Fees

This event is free for all participants. 

Age Groups

Only the following age groups are eligible to race in the Rotary Mile.

Girls & Boys

• 10 years and under 
• 11-13 years
• 14 years to recent HS graduating class (2026) 

Awards

Awards will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place boy and girl finishers in each age group at the end of the race in the park.
