Online Registration Discounts

To setup/update your online regsitration discounts, login to your dashboard, select the event, then select "Edit Online Registration"



Here you can select the event you would like to offer a discount on, limit the time on discount or amount of discounts you want to offer, select the type of discount (percentage or flat) and the discount amount.

On this screen, you will set any discounts you want to offer, set the time limit for the discount and/or the maximum number of the discount you want to offer.

Examples:


Example 1:

Early Reg Fee: $25 till (Insert Date Here) and $30 after that date

Base Fee: $30

Discount (Next Page): $5


Example 2:

You are offering a $10 discount to the first X to register

Base Fee: $30

Discount (Next Page): $10 (Set the limit to the X number you want to give the discount to)

Example Scenario 1: Early Bird Discount

Offer a discount for registrations before a certain date.

  1. Set Base Price: Start by setting your base price to the highest amount you would charge.

  2. Select Event: Choose the event you want to apply the discount to (if applicable).

  3. Set Discount Start Date: Choose the date when the discount should begin. You can set this to a date before registration opens. Note that all dates are set to midnight.

  4. Set Discount End Date: Choose the date when the discount should end. The discount will stop being applied at 12:01 AM on the selected end date.

  5. Update Discount Amount: Set the discount amount to $5.

  6. Set Discount Limit: Define the number of discounts available. Set this to 9999 if there is no limit.

  7. Select Discount Type: Choose the discount type. For this scenario, "Flat" is the best option.


Example Scenario 2: First Come, First Served Discount

The first few registrants receive a discount.

  1. Set Base Price: Start by setting your base price to the highest amount you would charge.

  2. Select Event: Choose the event you want to apply the discount to (if applicable).

  3. Set Discount Start Date: Choose the date when the discount should begin. You can set this to a date before registration opens. Note that all dates are set to midnight.

  4. Set Discount End Date: Choose the date when the discount should end. The discount will stop being applied at 12:01 AM on the selected end date.

  5. Update Discount Amount: Set the discount amount to $5.

  6. Set Discount Limit: Define the number of discounts available. Set this to 9999 if there is no limit.
