How to Post Your Race Info Online

ollow these steps to post your race information online:

Step 1: Log In

Log in to your Race Director account by clicking Login on the main page.

Step 2: Add New Event

In your Race Director dashboard, click Add New Event.

Event Details

Event Name:
Enter the name of your event.

Custom URL:
Create a short URL for easy sharing and access to your event.

Date and Time:
Specify the start time of the event (not the registration start time). Runners expect to see the race start time here.

Event Location, City, and State:
Fill in the event location details.

Age Group Details

Add details about the age groups for awards. You can customize this as needed, but here’s a typical example:

  • Top 3 Overall Male and Female
  • Top 3 Male and Female in the following age groups:
    • 10 and under
    • 11-19
    • 20-29
    • 30-39
    • 40-49
    • 50-59
    • 60-69
    • 70 and up

Awards Info

Expand on the awards participants can win. Include any suggestions to enhance the experience for participants.

Course Description

Describe the course for potential participants. Mention whether it’s challenging or flat, and provide directions to the start/finish and registration. The more detail you provide, the more appealing your event will be.

Entry Fees

Outline your entry fee structure. Here are examples:

Example 1:

  • Early Reg Fee: $25 until (Insert Date Here) and $30 after that date
  • Base Fee: $30
  • Discount (Next Page): $5

Example 2:

  • Offering a $10 discount to the first X registrants
  • Base Fee: $30
  • Discount (Next Page): $10 (Set the limit to X number)

Charity

Use this section to share information about any charity you’re supporting. People enjoy running for a cause!

You can even upload charity logos!

Anything Else

Use this final section to add any additional details that might enhance the participant experience and attract more registrants.

Finalize

Click the Create Event button to post your event.

Note: You can always go back into the Race Director dashboard to edit your event information at any time.

When you're ready to start accepting registrations, fill out the setup online registration form.
