Course

This race will take place in historical downtown Point Pleasant, West Virginia, and will kick off the 17th annual Mothman Festival. In addition to Main Street, you will run through Tu-Endie-Wei State Park, which some have recognized as the first battle of the Revolutionary War. Runners will also travel between the mighty Ohio River and the flood walls which are painted with beautiful murals. Runners are sure to be pleased with the sites!

Check in will be at the Mothman Museum at 400 Main Street. You will then walk a few blocks north, where the start at line is. This walk is the perfect warm up.

This course is flat and contains street, grass and gravel.

The start line is between 8th and 9th streets on Main Street, a few blocks north of the museum, at Christ Episcopal Church. Go north on Main Street through the dead end, then turn left and go south along the river until you enter Tu-Endie-Wei State Park. Take a slight left and follow the sidewalk past the cabin, and follow the sidewalk/path around the perimeter of the park. Exit the park and go north on Main Street, and turn left when you get to the Mothman Museum. You will run between the Post Office and Lowe Hotel, go through the flood wall, and turn right, going north along the river. You are back-tracking at this point. Go to the end, go right and head back south on Main Street until you reach the historic State Theater.

$30 if registered by September 3rd.

$35 if registered after September 3rd.

Registering by September 3rd is the ONLY way to GUARANTEE getting a shirt.

Awards

Finisher medals for everyone.

Mothman gift for first over all male and female.

Medals for top two runners in each division: 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

Runners are encouraged to dress up any way they'd like, but awards will not be given for costumes.
