Course

The course for both the 5K and the Kids 1K is paved. The 5K course is the one used for the WV Blackberry Festival 5K, and volunteers and local law enforcment officers will guide traffic for the safety of the runners. The Kids 1K will take place on the fitness trail in the Clarksburg City Park.

Entry Fees

Early Adult Registration (13 years old and up) is $20, and early Kid Registration (12 years old and under) is $10. Early registration ends on Friday, April 20, 2018. Late adult registration is $25 and late kids registration is $15. Late registration runs from April 21 - May 14, 2018.

Awards

The top three men and women finishers in each age division will receive a medal, and the top three finishers in the Kids 1K will receive medals.
 

Charity Information

Portions of the proceeds from the Harrison Heroes VeteRUN will go toward the Louis A. Johnson VA Hospital Recreation Therapy Program in Clarksburg, WV and the Harrison County WV Historical Society. This programs assists veterans with social re-integration after service in the North-Central West Virginia area.

Harrison Heroes VeteRUN pays tribute to our past and present veterans, and each participant will run in memory of a local soldier from Harrison County that was killed in service of our country.
