Start at the lake (Shelter #9), run out to the soccer fields, cross bridge to soccer fields, turn around & run back to the lake.

The James Rice Kidney Transplant Fund

James Rice of West Hamlin, WV, is a personal friend of mine who was diagnosed with stage 5 renal failure on December 29, 2015.  Since then, he's been receiving dialysis treatments and has been informed he's in dire need of a kidney transplant.  Unfortunately, his health insurance through his employer has refused to help him, the health care system has failed him and he's unable to continue his 20-year career in behavioral rehabilitation.  James must have upwards of $65,000 to fully cover the expenses linked to a transplant, but to get on the donor list and begin the process, he must have $22,000.  This is my attempt at raising as much money as possible for my dear friend.  Please consider participating in the 5K run/walk event and help James live a long and productive life!
