Charity Information
Maggie Holton was diagnosed with stage 4 high risk neuroblastoma on August 8, 2014 just shy of her 4th birthday. She immediately started an aggressive treatment through Hoops Children's Hospital that involved 5 rounds of chemo, 2 major surgeries, another very strong chemo and a bone marrow transplant, 12 rounds of radiation, 6 rounds of ch14.18 antibody therapy, 2 rounds of il2 along with ch14.18, 6 months of accutane, over 60 nights in the hospital, anf countless shots, scans, biopsies, x-rays, medicine, doctor visits, and trips to Columbus, Ohio. But throughout she has remained positive and stayed true to her motto "Fight!Fight!Fight!". She is currently considered "no evidence of disease" and is completeing her final round of accutane. The next course of treatment is an effort to keep her in remission and includes a 28 month DFMO trial through the Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus. Maggie and her family need our continued support to help with the expenses of time off work, travel, and medical care.
