The 5K course will feature wooded, fall-color delights, scenic open fields and beautiful Ohio River vistas along every inch of the 3.1 mile nature trail.

Awards

The top male and female runners will be awarded a trophy. Award medals for the 5K run will be given for 1st and 2nd place for each division.

Charity Information

The Natural High 5K and Fitness Festival is a fundraising event to benefit the Summer Outreach Club, a 9-week summer day camp, free kids age 5- 12 in Scioto County and beyond. The camp offers free breakfast and lunch, and daily motivational, recreational and educational activities by partnering with community agencies and volunteers, who share hands-on learning activities, teach classes, mentor and support campers while they participate in park outings, library and museum visits, swimming and daily activities working in the community garden.

What is a Fitness Festival?

This will be the 7th year for the Natural High 5K and the 1st for the Fitness Festival, offering a variety of fitness levels and interests.  The 5K Natural Trail Run/Walk will start at 9 am, with a Boot Camp class, Yoga and Zumba activities starting on the hour throughout the morning.  There will also be a children's obstacle course, rock climbing wall and massage activities, in addition to the hourly fitness event classes.
