Run course is on the road through the beautiful Kanawha State Forest. Runners with dogs will start at the rear of the pack. Walkers will be on a trail through the forest.Entry Fees
$20 Individuals (run or walk); $16 Teams (run or walk)Teams must have a minimum of 6 participants. To get the team discount enter coupon code "TEAM" when you register; $12 Ages 7-12; Free Ages 6 and under; Dogs are welcome in both the run and walk and included in your entry fee! Only one dog per person please. Online registration closes on June 5 at 6:00 a.m. Registration on race day starts at 9:00 a.m. at the event. Team members will be registered as an Individual after June 4. Mailed-in registrations must be postmarked by Tuesday, June 2 to complete the registration process. All participants receive performance race shirts, after race refreshments, and bark bags with goodies. Must be registered by May 29 to guarantee a race shirt. We will try to provide t-shirts for everyone but cannot guarantee for entries after May 29.Age Groups

AWARDS for 5K Run:1st Place Overall Female & Male receive Trophy & Prize; 2nd Place Overall Female & Male receive Medal & Prize. 14 and under: Trophy & Prize for 1st place female and male; Medal & Prize for 2nd place female and male. All other age groups: Medal & prize for the top two females and males. Trophy awarded to the Team with the most members (run or walk). Teams must have a minimum of 6 team members. Top two dogs in the 5K run receive medals and prizes! Even more prizes for fun dog Categories: Best Owner/Dog Combination; Best dressed dog; Largest Dog;Smallest Dog;Senior Dog;Slow Poke Dog (last in 5K Run).
