Join the YMCA for the Veterans Run, Walk & Roll 5k on Saturday, September 12 at 9:00a.m. as we come together to pay tribute to our Veterans, Guardsmen, Reservists, and Active duty servicemen. The event will be held at Coonskin park with the course starting at the main gate (adjacent to the National Guard complex), proceed to the vicinity of Schoenbaum Field, turn-around, and return to the main gate (finish line) and will be running alongside the paved road. 

The YMCA is proud to partner with the West Virginia National Guard Foundation and Kanawha County Parks and Recreation. The proceeds will benefit the West Virginia National Guard Foundation.

Registration for this race will be $30 for an individual runner OR sign up as a team of four for only $40! Disabled veterans are invited to participate at no cost. Advance registration is required. Disabled veterans are invited to participate at no cost. Advance registration is required. Disable veterans are required to register using the code "Veteran" to receive the discount. Dependents for disabled veterans who are wishing to participate are able to do so at no cost, however donations are appreciated to help defray the cost of the event.
