More Information
Tanner Reed Black is a 2 year-old little boy who was diagnosed with Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome(LGS) in October 2011. He lives in Proctorville, Ohio with his mom, dad, and 2 big brothers, who attend Fairland East and Fairland Middle School. LGS is a catastrophic form of epilepsy that strikes the very young. Tanner cannot sit up, walk, talk, feed himself or do any of the things other toddlers his age can do. Because this syndrome is so rare (1-4% of children in the US) there is little money dedicated to research. At this point, there is no cure nor effective course of treatments to control the seizures, which can number the hundreds per day. In about 70% of cases the underlying cause is never found. All of the proceeds will go directly to researching this heartbreaking syndrome. Please help solve the mystery of LGS and help us unlock the potential that is locked inside these children!!Sponsors
