Course

The course will be a Take-Off start as the runners will begin on the Rader Aviation Runway. The couse will then climb on a road surface for approximately 1 mile. Runners will then turn onto the Salmon Run Boy Scout Trail which consists of rolling terrain. Parts of the trail are single lane tracks that can be rocky, but the majority of the trail is relatively wide and level terrain. The trail lasts approximately 2 miles. At the end of the trail, the course turns back into a road race. The fourth mile is a flat stretch that leads into a 3/4 mile climb which will take the runners into a down hill sprint to the finish. A more detailed course description will be added at a later date.

This event will be offered as part of the Summersville Middle School's Summer Race Series. Participants that complete All 3 of the races will receive an additional shirt. Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. at the airport. To make this a true Appalachian Event, different types of pepperoni rolls will be part of the refreshments. A Special Thanks to our Sponsors!
