Course

Start at Holzer Sycamore Branch. Run will go up Ohio Ave. through GDC trail and will end back at Sycamore Branch.

Entry Fees

Registration fees are $20 before race day and $25 the day of the race. Register by November 1st to guarantee a race day t-shirt.

Awards

Medal and $50 gift card to Dick's Sporting Goods to top overall male and female. Medals will be awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers in each age group. Race t-shirts and bags for all participants pre-registered by November 1st. Tickets available for purchase at the event for some great raffle items! $1 each or 6 for $5.

Did you know that nearly 1 in 100 babies are born with some type of congenital heart defect? This equates to nearly 40,000 babies every year in the United States alone. Thousands of these babies will not survive to their 1st birthday and thousands more die before they reach adulthood. The cause of most CHDs remains unknown. This walk/run is in memory of Ava Lasseter who battled congenital heart disease (CHD) for six and a half months following her birth. All proceeds from this race will fund the "A Heart Like Ava" non-profit charity. A Heart Like Ava is dedicated to assisting families affected by CHDs, spreading CHD awareness, and contributing to CHD research. Visit www.AHeartLikeAva.org for more information.
