Course

The course will loop through the streets of downtown Paintsville and will be visibly marked. Runners will wear an apparatus similar to flag football whereas the two flags per runner will represent their lifeline. Additionally, lifeline flags will be strategically placed throughout the course which will allow runners a chance to survive the zombie apocalypse. The walkers will travel in the opposite direction with the goal of taking the flags from the runners as they pass.

Entry Fees

Registration fee: $25.00 per runner/walker; Ages 12 and under are $12.00. Special registration for groups of 4 or more: $15.00 each. Registrations prior to October 1st will guarantee event t-shirt.

Awards

Awards will be given to the first and second place runners who cross the finish line with at least one life flag in their possession, signifying that they survived the zombie attack. Other awards will be given to the two top walkers with the most kills and to the Best Group!

Registration begins at 5:00 p.m. in front of the Historic Sipp Theater. Enjoy the downtown block party complete with Thriller dance, filling the street with zombies!! Use our bloody props and take fun pictures in the Zombie Photo Booth! Do you have what it takes to survive??? All proceeds to benefit The Salvation Army of Johnson County.
