Course

Scenic double out and back course on 2 rail trails. 1% grade. First trail, 5 miles long, is paved & goes through the historic Meredith Tunnel, a restored former railroad tunnel. Second trail, 8.1 miles long, is on crushed limestone & dirt. Second trail runs beside Monongahela River. USATF certified course. Ideal course for PR. Course is closed to vehicular traffic.

$25. $30 after 10/11/14. $40 after 1/5/15.

5 year age groups for runners. No age groups for walkers.

Knit hat, gloves & finisher medals to first 400 registrants/finishers. Lots of chili & refreshments afterwards. Finisher medals. Awards presented as runners finish. Race 1 in Run to Read Triple Crown and Race 1 in MCPARC race series. 4 hour time limit. Food available until 5 pm. USATF sanctioned event.
