More Information
Have you ever wanted to do something for your country? Not everyone can serve in the military, but anyone can serve their country. The Run for Recovery is a chance to raise funds for the Wounded Warrior Project. So, without joining the military, you can provide a great service to this country by joining this race. Additionally, there is an opportunity for tours of local Fort Scammon on Fort Hill, which was a fort for the Union forces during the Civil War. It is famous for its protection in the Battle of Charleston, as well as its construction by future Presidents Harrison and McKinley. This event provides a chance to learn and raise funds for those who truly need them. Oh, and you can win a race!Sponsors
