Course

The start of the race is located at the corner of 3rd Ave and 9th St. Runners will proceed westbound on 3rd Ave until turning left on 7th St. Runners will proceed south on 7th St. and turn left at the intersection of 7th St. and 5th Ave. Runners will continue on 5th Ave until turning left at the intersection of 5th Ave and 20th St. Runners will proceed north on 20th St until turning left at the intersection of 3rd Ave. Runners will continue on 3rd Ave to the intersection with 8th St. The finish line will be just short of the intersection of 8th and 3rd Avenue. A map is included on the following page.

Entry Fees

$18 if by November 1st, $20 if by November 25th, and $25 November 26th- through race day.

Male/female 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, 70+

Awards

Top 3 Men and women will receive special awards and prizes. Top 3 finishers in each of the following age groups will receive a medal: Male/female 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, 70+. Awards subject to change based on registration.

The American Medical Student Association (AMSA) chapter at Marshall University’s Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine is excited to host the 6th annual Huntington Jingle Bell 5k Run & Walk! Athletes will enjoy our fast and flat course, fun holiday atmosphere, and post-race refreshments. New this year will be a costume contest, and also jingle bells for runners and walkers to wear on their shoe laces while they participate. The costume contest will feature prizes and “celebrity judges.” This event also features a Kids Mile race—FREE! Proceeds benefit our AMSA chapter, and a portion of the proceeds will also go to the Ebenezer Medical Outreach, a free clinic in Huntington. We hope you’ll join us for this fun holiday tradition!
