Course

The race will start on Union Ave. between Shaw St. and Coffman Ave. This is a downhill mile race that runs along the parade route just before the start of the parade. Imagine having 5,000-10,000 people on the sides of the road cheering you on as you race on the parade route just seconds before the parade starts. This is a VERY UNIQUE opportunity to run a race that will be lined with people cheering you on. The finish line will be on Farmdale Rd. at the end of the parade route.

Entry Fees

Online Entry Pre-Registration: $15 Race Day: $20 Must register by September 8th to be guaranteed a race shirt.

10 and under 11-14 15-19 20-29 30-39 40-49 50-59 60 and up

Top 3 overall Male/Female Top 2 in each of the age groups

Parking WILL BE AN ISSUE on the parade day. Please plan accordingly. This is a POINT-TO-POINT race and over 10,000 people will be in Barboursville for the parade. Take your time getting to the race and enjoy the parade after you race the downhill mile! Registration and number pickup will be at the church on the corner of Central Avenue and Barbara Street. Awards will be held near the finish line area immediately at the conclusion of the race. Proceeds go to the Barboursville Cross Country Team. PACKET PICKUP: This will be held at 613 Shaw St. Less then a block from the starting line. We will only be handing out bib numbers at the packet pickup. Shirts will be available at the finish line. This will make it easier for particpants so they do not have to 1.) Go to Registration, 2.) Go to their car with their stuff, and then 3.) Go back to the starting line. We hope that you can leave your car somewhere in Barboursville, Warm-up to the packet-pickup/starting line area and be ready to race.
