Course

The 5k event will use the Ritter Park course. A course map is available.

The race will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m. 

Entry Fees

Early bird registration (before April 30, 2026)- $25.00

Registration after April 30, 2026- $30.00

Day of registration available on site.

Age Groups

9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and up!

Awards

Medals and prizes to the first three(3) overall finishers (male/female).

Medals to the first finisher in each age group.

Charity Information

Cabell County Public Library and Tri-State Literacy Council host Bolt for Books: Library 5k for Literacy to raise funds that allow us to offer free programming to community members of all ages. In the past, funds generated from Bolt for Books have supported the purchase of new furniture for the children's floor and volunteer training for adult literacy tutoring. We thank you for your support and for being an advocate of libraries and literacy in our community.
