Run or walk your own 5K course any time during the month of July and submit your best results! Want to make it even more fun? Dress up in your best bee apparel and share on your social with the tag #RunTheBuzz! We may feature your pictures in our race highlights!!

Entry Fees

The virtual Run the Buzz entry fee is $25 - this helps up cover the cost of mailing out your event specific medal!

Age Groups

All ages are welcome! You can even register your four-legged friends!

Awards

The are no overall or age group awards for this VIRTUAL race-- but each registered (US) participant will receive an event specific finisher medal in the mail after results from the event are entered! So please ensure you provide a valid US mailing address when you register!

Charity Information

All proceeds from the Run the Buzz 5K Virtual Race benefit the Buzz Learning Academy- an afterschool program that will provide meals, homework help, sports, STEM activities, crafts, and a variety of other activities to local youth.

This VIRTUAL race is a great option for anyone who would like to participate in a 5K with a finisher medal but cannot attend the in-person event! Your support of the Buzz Learning Academy will help strengthen the futures of young people and their families throughout our rural West Virginia community!

SPECIAL CHALLENGE ALERT!!!  With this virtual race option, how amazing would it be to have registered runners and walkers from across the United States! Of course we invite our West Virginia communities to participate, but will also showcase a map at the in-person event showing the number of states represented in this virtual race. This is a great way to show our local students that their futures are important to people across the country!
